Moving to the UK to pursue higher education was a childhood dream for someone like us hailing from small towns and middle-class backgrounds. Taking that first step towards achieving our aspirations was a significant milestone. It was both overwhelming and challenging to leave our families behind and start anew in a foreign land. During that crucial period, the support we received meant the world to us. Just like us, many students were emotionally grappling with the challenges of adapting to life in the UK, far away from their home countries. That’s when we, Sandeep and Shreshta, realized that the key issue facing immigrants and students was the lack of adequate support.
